An Initiative to improve livelihood through engaging women in garment Industry
Programme Objective:
The objective of the program is to enhance and strengthen the role of marginalised women (18- 50 years) from Sultanpuri and nearby slums of North West Delhi, as active economic and social change agents in their community and households.
This project intends to address the problems of livelihood through engaging women in garment industry (sewing and stitching) based income generation activities and capacity building of them on leadership and technical aspects of cost effective production in (garment) industry.
Project would work to provide recognition and identity to women as producers, entrepreneurs. This intervention will improve the quality of life with a sustainable source of income.

Milestone:
Project as on February 2024
- Total Outreach : 10166 women
- 202 Self Help Groups formed 2589 women are associated with these groups
- Financial literacy training were done for 10166 women.
- 787 women from G4G project trained on entrepreneurship.
- 85 women trained for Knitting Upskilling and 55 for Artificial Jewellery
- 712 women were trained for stitching (Basic) and 298 women were trained for stitching (Advanced)
